Welcome to Balanced Tails Montana
I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have had goats, horses, dogs, cats and chickens. I got my first German Shepherd puppy back in 2018. As German Shepherds go, she was very anxious, nippy, mouthy, she chewed on everything and jumped up on everyone she came into contact with. All I knew how to do at the time was to walk her on a harness, and feed her treats. She learned to pull me, and that she could nip more because of the expectation of receiving a treat. Her obedience wasn’t there, nor did I have her focus or respect. It was time for me to take training seriously, and find the help I needed. The trainer that I had worked with changed my life so much, I decided to become a professional dog trainer myself. I have been training dogs professionally for 6 years now, and will absolutely continue to train for years to come. Having the passion, knowledge, education, experience and empathy for the animals and people is extremely important in my line of work. Not only are we dog trainers, we are here to help our clients through the good and the bad, regardless of what that looks like.
